Identity theft alert--Martin Eagle name is used in fraudulent purchases on Craig's list

The FBI and Local Police are investigating a case of identity theft where counterfeit checks have been created and used to make purchases on Craig's List.

Denton, TX – Details will be posted as soon as information from law enforcement agencies arrives. For now, we can only advise all not to accept checks from Martin Eagle Oil Company for uncertain purchases. Please contact your local police and Martin Eagle Oil Company if you have any information about suspected abuse or theft using the Martin Eagle Oil name. We will report this to the proper authorities. Please be careful and certain that any payment by check with our company name is in fact from us. Call us if you have any questions.
