The National Biodiesel Accreditation Program was formed for two reasons:
Gain public and commercial success and support of biodiesel
Help develop and assure that the industry standard for biodiesel is maintained and production specifications are followed
This cooperative and voluntary program is open to any biodiesel manufacturer, marketer, or distributor of biodiesel, and unique in that it combines a quality systems program consisting of storage, sampling, testing, blending, shipping, distribution, and fuel management practices with ASTM standards.
Rigerous inspections and quality control checks are performed on companies wishing to become certified.
